New Age Pros: I really like the change after the intial intro, into the pizzicato style strings, very cool. The rest of the song was very nicely arranged. Cons: The intro lead slow string line sound out of place. I don't know if it was because it was by it self or maybe because the note were not very appeal in contrast to the rest of the piece. I would have enjoyed the intro more without that particular solo string lead (Maybe a duet of strings, more movement from the lead part) |

Glad to see someone still has the balls to use it. Cons: Orchestra strings can be immediately identified as fake, and ruins the opening progression completely. Song would be completely better if recorded with all "synthy" sounds instead of synth attempting to sound real. |

Electronic Pros: Would make good background noise or something to fall asleep to. I like the low pads toward the latter half of the song. Low key mood, very relaxing. Cons: Not much to this musically. Is more or less soundtrack filler. Sound effects and a few odd electronic bleeps and stabs thrown in here and there. Not overly challenging. M. Fisher notes: This is exactly what the aim of this piece of music is...it's intended for soundtracks and backgrounds. It's a Pro, not a Con! |

Rock Pros: Beautiful melodic ideas on the guitar. I thought adding the strings was a good idea. I think this song has great potential but... Cons: ...Although I understand the importance of the bass drone, after a while it became a little monotonous. I think some time after the strings came in you should have added a driving drum beat and changed the bass. The changed bass should be played by an electric bass. In my opinion, this change would make it a great piece! |
